This is a 3D printed mold for people who make their own bath bombs and is designed to be used by hand to make bath bomb embed bars. Make embed bars at a time, quickly and easily!
 
The mold contains 3 pieces: Base, Sleeve, and Plunger. Colour of mold may vary from picture.
 
Available in 2 sizes:
small - holds up to approximately 420 grams of mix and makes 21-28 embed bars at a time, depending on how you cut them
large - holds up to approximately 840 grams of mix and makes 42-56 embed bars at a time, depending on how you cut them
 
The plunger and base include guidelines so that you can cut your embed bars in a consistent size.  (Plunger guidelines enable you to make more, but smaller, embed bars.) Cutting along guidelines  in the plunger results in embed bars that are approximately 10.5 mm (0.4") x 15mm (0.6").  Depth of embed bar dependent on how much mix you put into the mold.  Embed bars pictured were made with the large embed bar maker, with 900 grams of mix, resulting in embed bars approximately 65 mm (2.5") deep.
 
Our molds are made of PLA which is derived from renewable resources like corn starch or sugar cane.  To clean your mold, rinse under cool water and towel dry.  PLA is heat sensitive and can retain water, so molds should never be put in the dishwasher or soaked, and should not be rinsed with warm or hot water.

To use:  Place sleeve on base.  Add your embed mixture in layers.  Place the plunger inside sleeve, press down, and unmold.  Finally use a knife (not included) to cut your embed bars.
